Catherine, originally from Lamèque Island in northeastern New Brunswick, completed the Preparatory Diploma in Health Sciences (DSS) after graduating from high school, to then be admitted in dentistry at the University of Montreal.

Her sense of organization and her enthusiasm enabled her to obtain three certificates of merit in the committees of which she was a member in high school: President of the graduating committee, mentoring committee, student council.

By moving to Montreal, being far from home and having faced many challenges during her personal and professional journey, she is determined to help students achieve their academic goals, but also to guide and advise them on to their future, their anxieties and their dreams.
