Ahmed is an alumnus of Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf, where he completed his high school and cegep studies. He is currently undertaking his university studies in pharmacy.

During his cegep studies, he distinguished himself, among other things, for his interest in science and research through his participation in the Brébeuf chemistry research group. He was also the recipient of a scholarship from the École Polytechnique de Montréal for winning the "Déplace de l'Air" competition at Poly.

During his cegep career, Ahmed was on the honor roll for his academic performance. Finally, his skills enabled him to become a tutor at the Centre d’aide et de perfectionnement en sciences (CAPS).
